WORKPLACE INDUCTIONS
The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires you to provide whatever information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of your employees.
A cost effective way of delivering and recording this training is via a computer based workplace induction, where the training is delivered to a consistently high standard every time. Inductions are self paced but can be used in a classroom style as well for larger audiences and the employees progress is monitored throughout and validated by a few simple multiple choice questions which are recorded for auditing purposes.
Cognition Media have developed Induction Programmes for Corus, ConocoPhillips, Fine Organics, DuPont, Invista, Artenius, Petrofac Offshore, Petroplus and many other organisations where the knowledge retention has proven to be far more effective than the conventional video induction format developed many years ago.
